Before applying, please be sure to read #our rules on what types of characters are allowed. Additional guidelines are as follows:

• Please include your character's name, canon, whether or not they are reserved in your subject line. If you are submitting a challenge app, note this here as well, e.g.

• Applications must be posted to this page for our records—no links to journals, please. Once you've received a decision, we're happy to screen on request.
  
• Only complete applications will be judged. Placeholders and major edits after posting are not allowed for fairness' sake.
  
• As the mod team often uses mobile devices, do not use excessive formatting, irregular characters, or gifs.
  
• Apps will not necessarily be judged in order. This is due to different people looking at different apps, mod discussion, varying canon familiarity, etc. If an app has gone five days without any word, please feel free to contact us. We appreciate your patience!
  
• Revisions will typically be for a section that needs fleshing out, clarifications, or game mechanics concerns. An app may be rejected for numerous sections that require revisions or general writing quality.
  
• Applications may be rejected without revisions being extended first. However, we as a mod team will strive to be fair about decisions, and are always open to private discussion on any concerns about our decisions.

Background: A Wikipedia article is fine. If not available, or lacking in quality, please provide a brief outline of major events and important, canon-specific vocabulary in your character's history. A bullet list will suffice!

Canon Point: An episode or chapter number, etc. Current canon point must have been released more than a month ago in its country of origin.

Appearance: An image link or brief description. No animated gifs, please.

Personality: Some suggestions include character strengths, weaknesses, motivations, goals, social tics, key CR and their influences. This should not be a reworded history section; think of this as a character analysis, not a play-by-play of their reactions in canon. We aren't looking for a thesis or fanfiction, but please be thorough.

Samples: A prose example that has more insight on their internal thought processes (motivations, apprehensions, etc). However, vague, solely introspective pieces are not recommended; actions like how your character reacts and thinks about their surroundings and the people around them are encouraged, as is body language, etc. Imagine having to give someone something to respond to in a tag.



NOTE that for samples, intros are not allowed. External links are welcome, except for threads with canonpoints where your character's personality is drastically different, AU scenarios, and excessive crack or meta (e.g. dear-player). Additionally, nothing older than (2) years, please.


Abilities: Any noteworthy abilities. Powers are not removed, but game-breaking powers should be toned down.

Inventory: Clothing and (2) personal items.

Personality, Continued: For Canon AUs, outline in what way this iteration of the character is different from their OU equivalent. In the case of CRAUs, please provide how your character changed and developed, as well as some of their major cr, what sorts of experiences they had and how they effected them, etc.
